Q: Where does the name "Domicel" come from?

A: From the words "domain" and "cell" - a Domicel is a personal virtual Internet domain, and you can use it to interact with any other Domicel, in the same way that any two cellular phones in the world can talk to each other (technically, a servent model).

Q: Is Domicel patented?

A: Yes. You can view the patent here.

Q: The product is pretty rickety. Maybe you should work on it a bit more before going on-line?

A: Perhaps. But at some point you have to shoot the engineers and get the product out. I only have one engineer on the project right now (myself) and after doing some cost-benefit analysis (in which my sanity played some role) I decided it was time to shoot him.

Q: Well, perhaps you could have put some more work into user interface, add some pizzazz?

A: I had only one user interface programmer (me), and he wasn't very good. So I shot him too.

Q: So you're not going to be doing any more programming?

A: On the contrary! I expect to be putting out fires from the moment Domicel goes on-line. To report a bug click here. But remember, I'm just one little guy, don't expect too much.

Q: Can I see your Domicel?

A: Yes, if you have a Domicel, you can visit it by going to the the White Pages in the Directories group, click on "Get Domicel", "Get Domicel", and you will see my Domicel in the list, ID 10000000. Click "Go To Domicel" and you will see all objects for which I have granted viewing access.

You can also view my Domicel blog, - even if you don't have a Domicel account.

Q: What's the next step?

A: Right now I'm open to a lot of possibilities. One possibility is to raise venture capital for the completion of the product. Another is to try to drum up interest in the product as is, and see where it takes me.

Q: How much money do you need?

A: If you're serious, contact me here.
